We tried to answer some questions we’ve been getting here, but if we didn’t answer yours please ask us!

What should I wear?

Somewhere around formal attire / cocktail would probably be best :-) But also, be comfortable. This is a garden wedding, outdoor, twinkle lights, Spanish style.

Colors of the wedding are here, but not because we expect you to dress according to them. Only putting them here if it helps you!

Where should I park?

There is room for about 20 cars in the Umlauf’s parking lot, but there is more parking across the street. From the Umlauf’s website, “Parking in the UMLAUF parking lot is limited, but overflow parking can be found across Azie Morton at Wright Field or in the nearby Zilker lots.”

A map can be found here: https://www.umlaufsculpture.org/_files/ugd/dad426_d8ee19a1bba0407cad48e74f5470fcf5.pdf

Do you have a registry?

We do not! We both already feel weird about there being a whole evening about us, so we definitely don’t want a registry 😅

If you would like to bring something, we love cards and would love to have your thoughts or wishes in writing to keep. That would be very special to us. 🩷

Is the reception in the same place as the ceremony?

Yes, everything is at the Umlauf. We’re going for easy here :-) Ceremony at 6:30, reception right after.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

The doors to the venue will open one hour ahead of our ceremony time at 5:30. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space (located about a 5 minute walk from the parking lot) and find a seat.

I'm gluten free, will I be able to eat?

Yes! Dinner and dessert are GF. There will also be a vegetarian option for anyone who doesn’t eat meat.

I haven't RSVP'd yet...when's the deadline? Can I decide to come last minute?

If we’ve invited you, there really isn’t a deadline—we want you there! If you’re someone who won’t know until the last minute, that’s okay, just give us a head’s up that that’s the case if possible. We’re just trying to make sure there’s enough food for everyone :-)
